Settle Into Stillness: A Yoga Nidra Sound Journey
Monday Evening, March 24th
6-7:30 PM $45 per person
Yoga Nidra is the practice and art of Yogic Sleep. It is a profound but simple guided meditation accessible to anyone. The practice systematically guides the body, mind and breath into a complete state of relaxation. Quiet the mind and cultivate inner serenity as you rest in a supported savasana. Nancy’s voice will lead you through a guided relaxation where all the senses are drawn to gentle, conscious awareness, inviting the body to heal, creativity to flourish, and heart to expand.
While in this safe, sacred space, Settle Into Stillness will create a soundscape of handpan, didgeridoo, crystal singing bowls, multiple gongs, voice, world percussion, chimes and more.
Settle Into Stillness is joined by award-winning vocalist Kimberly Joy Rieli, and lifelong percussionist and handpan player Parker Horsch, as the Settle Into Stillness Ensemble. Each experience is created and offered with love and intention for healing and relaxation. Receive deep rest while being immersed in the ethereal vibrations of a Yoga Nidra Sound Journey.
The Settle Into Stillness Ensemble stands apart from the ever-growing landscape of mindfulness-based musical offerings. By seamlessly weaving together diverse world music instrumentation, such as the mesmerizing handpan, the enchanting didgeridoo, the angelic beauty of the harp, the gentle resonance of gongs, the ethereal tones of crystal singing bowls and setting it all to the backbeat of an eclectic variety of world percussion instruments, the ensemble has crafted a truly extraordinary experience. Each element is carefully chosen and delivered with intention, creating a symphony of soothing vibrations that nurture the mind, body, and soul. Their offerings create an immersive experience that transports participants towards a state of deep inner calm. Through carefully curated sessions, individuals are invited to release stress, let go of tension, and embark on a profound journey of self-exploration.
All are welcome, no prior experience with yoga or meditation necessary.
